What is Yango shop?
Yango Shop is a shopping aggregator platform available inside the Yango app for users in Pakistan.
It aggregates products from local authentic stores into a single browseable, searchable catalogue.
When your catalog is synced:
- Products appear in the Yango Shop feed and search results.
- Customers can browse your products, view product pages and add them to their favorites list.
Checkout without leaving Yango Shop: customers can complete a full purchase (using a Yango Pay Later or COD payment method) directly inside Yango Shop, without being redirected to your website.
This is available for merchants connected via the Yango App.
Once an order is placed, it is automatically synced back to your Shopify store and appears in Shopify Admin. You can manage and fulfill these orders exactly like any other Shopify order.
How to verify the catalog sync is working?
The catalog sync is working correctly if the number of products in your Shopify catalog is equal to the number of your products visible in the Yango Shop.
Where to check in Shopify:
- Go to your Shopify Admin → Apps → Yango.
- The app dashboard shows your sync status and the count of synced products.
- A green status indicator means the sync is active and up to date.
If there's a mismatch:
- Wait 10–15 minutes after making catalog changes — sync is near real-time but may have a short delay.
- Check that the app is still installed and the sync status is green in Shopify Admin.
- If the mismatch persists for more than 30 minutes, contact Yango team.
